I am waiting for the keyboard cover to go on sale also, but that's still gonna be over $100..
This regular bookcover price is cheaper than the frontpage black color deal from Bestbuy in Oct.
I don't see the reason for the thumbs down it's already getting but oh well.. people don't like to pay more for the authentic stuff I guess..
There was a S7 keyboard cover a few days ago for $30 new at Microsoft's eBay store. it went OOS real quick as I was checking out.... I gave you a plus one though.

Yes that was for a regular S7. To this date, I haven't seen anything cheaper than $115 for S7+ with a keyboard.
They are different sized and you can't use one with the other and anything for S7 Plus will always be more expensive..
If you wait for sometime, the prices of most Samsung tab cases would go down steep. If you look into S6 tab you could grab one of those cases for like 30 now and Incase if you missed the Microsoft deal, then pretty much somebody would be cleaning house soon as s8 tab being launched.

Bestbuy just had it for 80-90. Picked one up for my s7 fe. Not the greatest but it gets the job done
Had been looking at third party covers for the S7+ picked up during Samsung's trade-in deal- not a fan of the silver but at $40 I'll go OEM, thanks OP.
It's an okay price. I have the keyboard cover but don't use it often. I'm currently using (for my S7+) a third-party case that provides edge protection and the pen not only fits in the henge but snaps into place. (the case only has 84 ratings, but)They have a large volume of sales so I feel comfortable posting the link. $11.99
The only issue I've had (and it's not there fault but I don't have another case to test with) is when I'm in the kitchen and set the Tab down on the lid of my freezer they magnet in the cover seems to magnetize a large area of the freezer's lid and shuts down the tablet (as in puts it to sleep as supposed to happen when one closes the Tab's case)
Oh, the only other issue I've had is when resting the Tab on my belly in bed, the edge protection will trigger edge tap on tablet sometimes.

I originally was going to buy a third-party case to protect the tab until I get the keyboard cover and was looking around until I saw reviews of what "wrong" magnets can do to the tab screen. It seems some of these cheapo cases with wake/sleep function use magnets that will permanently damage the screen. Unfortunately there's no telling which one uses what kind of magnet.. I just didn't wanna risk it even if it was a slim chance.
Also considered Spigen hard case, which looks well built but that one doesn't have a lid.
Anyhow, third-party cases are cheap and it's great if one is satisfied with it. I just didn't want that what if feeling by trying to save little $.

I did not know of this issue, thank you. But, it appears this case has the magnets in the correct location. I opened the case so the magnets would be behind the tablet (folded behind as in normal cover storage in use **I did not try cover in any of the standing positions) then dialed *#0*# from the dialer to bring up hardware tests. In the Touch, Draw, and Hover tests they were all able to reach the edges of the screen and pass.
Nevertheless, you brought up a good point. It was not an issue I was aware of. Some say it could be permanent, some say if you remove the case the sPen EMR sensors start working back correctly. (They both could be right is my guess depending on the case).
But it appears I dodged a bullet on this one.

I have this Fintie case on my S7+. I generally swear by Fintie cases for tablets, I use them on almost all my devices, but the one for the S7+ is the first I've had problems with. The little pieces of metal that fit inside the plastic housing and attach to the magnets all fell out. If I hadn't of noticed, they could have scratched my screen (sharp metal edges. Also, the plastic isn't very sturdy on the edges. It's enough to make me consider going OEM at this price.
