The 16:10 makes it really nice for productivity.....
But the 3050ti will let game a little or help with Photoshop.

NO, it's sussy 16:9 because HP is bad like that, not 16:10!
Also this 3050 is one of the worst performing, as HP took away a heatpipe they had on their 3060 model, also has wobbly hinges

Saw a YouTube review about wobbly hinges—what a joke. Having owned it for several months now, not once have I taken notice of wobbly hinges. I do some gaming with no issues whatsoever. As some have said, it's not a gaming rig, but it's also a fraction of the cost. Great laptop thus far for general purpose and basic gaming (not tried AAA titles). My only disappointment has been with the speaker volume, which doesn't go high enough sometimes.
A quick Google search shows it would be a downgrade. Even a 1660ti performs better than a 3050 and 3050ti!
Wow that's sort of surprising. Just thinking about upgrading the kids laptop and using the 2070 as a hand me down. Thanks for your help.
