Personally, my favorite is Arabica/Robusta blends as they pack a bit of a caffeine kick. The Top Class is a 50/50 blend. Blends are impossible to find at retail stores, as they only carry 100% Arabica unless you go to an International marketplace.

Really nice write up. I'm in for a Top Class, $36 a box is a great price (after 15% S&S discount). I was tempted to buy the Top Class "2" capsules for $46, but I went with the singles for $36.

For those new to Lavazza BLUE, when on sale look for single capsules under 40¢ and "2" (or double) capsules under 50¢. That's about as good as you'll find unless someone's clearing out old capsules.

I'm still hung up on last fall winter deals where I snagged 2 boxes for under $20.

Love the machine and the pods.
Oh the decaf is under 40c in this deal though. Or am I reading it wrong?

I'm not sure as Decaf is $49.99 with no coupon on my screen.

The three I'm seeing where you can get the 25% coupon is Top Class, Top Class "2", and Caffe Crema. All three are sold and shipped by Amazon.

You need the 25% coupon and 15% Subscribe & Save discount to get either Top Class or Caffe Crema for $36, or Top Class "2" for $46. Personally, I prefer Top Class to Caffe Crema.

Thanks! Good catch as these are on different pages. I didn't see Gran Espresso 2s when I ordered the Top Class, but when I clicked on the link on this page it's there.

I've never had the Gran Espresso 2 capsules (or single Gran Espresso for that matter) and I just ordered one of these for $44.

Did you order the "Gran Espresso 2"? or just the "Gran Espressos" (which is showing out of stock). Just want to clarify as my total was $55 (not $44).

I ordered 2s and it said $44 on the subscribe page, but now I have an error message in my subscriptions stating my order is being updated. So I'm not sure what's going on.

nice write up! these prices are the new regular on sale price unfortunately during the covid era. Anything under 30 cents a pod is considered a real good deal now. The cheapest i have seen recently were on black friday flash sale on amazon @30-33 cents a pod for the expert (compatible with blue) but limit 1 per flavor

I used to be able to get various BLUE capsules for under $35 pretty regularly. I guess $45 is the new $35 Smilie BTW, "Espresso Ricco" is also on sale for $44.99 if you prefer dark roast: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QNV480

Update:
I also found this product, which looks like it's not made by Lavazzo but says it's compatible with the BLUE and Expert machines. The price is attractive at $0.36 a pop! Does anyone have any experience with it? https://www.amazon.com/Italian-ca...B09K9GSVGX

Amazon finally updated my subscriptions. I tried deleting my Top Class order and ordered a Gran Espresso 2 for $44.16. Something hiccupped and my order didn't go through right away. I got an error saying my order was updating.

I guess they finished updating. My Top Class is cancelled and they are showing two separate Gran Espresso 2 orders. When I first received the error stating the purchase didn't go through I tried again. I accidentally ordered a second time.

I just went to my subscriptions and I now have two separate Gran Espresso 2 orders for $44.16 each (that price is with a 15% S&S discount). I don't know if they'll deliver since you're only supposed to receive the 25% on your first subscription, but I'll take both if they send them.

Here's the link with the Gran Espresso 2 and the 25% off coupon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1

Ah yes, I am only getting 5% as I dont have enough items on the S&S.
Would you know if the Gold Selection or the Caffe Crema is closer to the BLUE line Caffe Crema Dolce. I really liked that more than the Inteso. I guess I don't prefer the bolder coffee flavors.

Great find! This must be a fairly new offering. I contacted this company DELICITALY https://www.pureitaliancoffee.com/ a year ago and asked if they made or planned to make Lavazza BLUE compatible capsules and they said "no". I'm glad they came around. They do have one thing going for them, the capsules are 9g each which is a good amount of coffee for a single cap. I don't expect much though. I've had their Nespresso OriginalLine caps and they were so-so. $17.99 is cheap enough for a 50 count box to give them a try. I'm going to try the Incanto Cremoso version here just to see. https://www.amazon.com/Italian-ca...=1-17&th=1

I believe the Caffe Crema is more similar to the Dolce with an updated label. I could be wrong though. I haven't had the Gold yet so I can't really recommend one over the other, and Intenso is probably my favorite capsule so there's that. Caffe Crema is 100% Arabica whereas Gold is 70/30 Arabica/Robusta I suspect Caffe Crema would be brighter in acidity and Gold would be richer and smoother.

Remember, 5 subscriptions gets you 15. If you need filler items each subscription counts. You can add something like this for filler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009Q63W4?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-ypp-ro-model_ypp_ro_model_k0_1_5&crid=36G3HZ2... [amazon.com]
if you bought four individual subscriptions plus the coffee you'll get the 15%. Or you could add some $1 food items, just scroll through food priced low to hi. https://www.amazon.com/s?i=grocer..._nr_p_85_1
