Why not use your PC to covert them all to MP3s?
Edit: btw if I'm not mistaken, any DVD or Blu ray player will play regular audio CDs.
Not the best sound quality out of the top players but definitely the most comfortable for plane rides. I prefer the clear balanced sound of the Bose also compared to others
Pros: $70 cheaper than the 700
Foldable so takes up less space if you are using it for travel
Cons:
Micro USB charging
No quick charge, takes about 2 hours to fully charge and lasts 20 hours on a single charge
700
Pros: Better mics for call quality, better than the QC 35 II
USB C and fast charging 15 mins will give you approx 2 hours and full charge lasts the same 20 hours.
Cons:
Non foldable so the carrying case takes more space
The choice between the 2 ultimately will come down to how you want to use it apart from the comfort factor which is subjective and I can'tt really say which one will fit you better.
I own the QC 35 II and I wear glasses and I find them comfortable but I dont actually wear them for more than a couple of hours at a time. I am sure you will start feeling the headphones if you are wearing it for prolonged period like 8-10 hours. I am sure any headphone at hour will be somewhat uncomfortable.
If you are planning on using it mostly at home and for calls/meetings then probably the 700 is better choice.
You will charge it more frequently since you are using it for your work calls, so quick charge is welcome.
Also the size wont matter because you are not carrying it.
If you are actually going to use this for travel or you are mostly buying it for ANC and listening to stuff and just occassional phone calls, then save the $70 and get the QC 35II
There is a reason why bose still makes and sells both models, they are not a replacement of each other but targetted to different audience. I am not sure when they came out with the QC 35 II why bose did not update the micro USB to USB-C?
Also like me if you are using an apple device, micro USB and USB C does not matter because you have to carry a separate charger anyway and cant use the phone charger.
Hope this helps.

So if I'm in the middle of a 12 hour flight with a drained internal battery - there is no way to quickly go back to "noise cancelled" environment...
edit: all out

How's the noise isolation with qc35 II. I'm looking to use this to take work calls during driving. TY
yes, I used to use it in a gym until some detailer stole it out of my car, it's great I don't hear much except my music even it's at low volume. at this price I might bite to use on the plane couple times a year
These are not good for phone calls because they don't have any noise isolation in the mic, all the tech is for noise cancellation on the speaker. Your best bet is airpods, jabra, plantronics. Plantronics Voyager Legend is fantastic, you can next to a leaf blower and the other side wont even know!

$50 difference not 70, well worth the difference in technology
Thank you for the suggestion. I had an Jabra bt head set and the mic noise isolation was great. However i drive a noisy vehicle and was looking to something that covers both ears and with noise isolation. Thank you again.
Get the Jabra Elite 75t for $50 or the 85 for $70 the deals are posted here earlier.
Nice. Thank you

Got a phone charger?
How long would it take to charge it for 7-8 hour ANC time?
