Get it now, ask questions later! BTW a Bodum french press plunger will fit and work on the Stanley adventure cup, if you have one laying around. Used that for french press at my house past two years even when not camping, etc

also FYI a Jetboil/Primus plunger do not fit, lids are same size but Stanley is graduated a few inches down from top.
It's stainless..not AL.

Bought one a few days ago, arrived with a bent handle/folding arm. Returned and bought for 6¢ less now.

Have the cook set from a while back. Good for car camping, too heavy for backpacking.

I've had one of these for a few years and I take it any time I go backpacking. Its held up great over fire or jet stove. With a jet-stove, you'll boil water in 2-3 minutes and by the time you finish pouring the water out, the metal will already be cool pretty cool to the touch (its aluminium). Weightwise, its good and having the cups fit inside the container is very convinient.

For 10 bucks, its an easy buy and I definitely recommend.

Read the reviews. I would only buy ones that have exclusive metal locking parts, and avoid the ones that have plastic clamps.

In for my 3rd, got a backup. I remember when these used to be $7, saw them jump up to $25 recently at my local REI. It is a great budget water boiling pot to use with my Soto Amicus stove or any similar style canister stove. Honestly, its light enough, how many people really need "ultra" light. My kids even like the green cups for their hot cocoa.

An alternate use for the metal 24oz kettle cup [media-amazon.com], is for making iced coffee from my Keurig. The coffee quickly gets cold before all the ice melts. Seems to work pretty well. I just give it a stir and it chills quicker than a regular cup.

I have the camp set and used it for backpacking for 2 years. The cups are useless in my mind but the pot worked well for the price. I've since transitioned over to a solo stove setup that does a bit better and weighs less but is 4x the price here. If you aren't concerned about the extra ounces or are just giving backpacking a try, I would easily recommend it
