I am a fan of Vitamix. Few years ago, bought a 6300 as reconditioned. Almost at the end of five year warranty, the jar gave in, the bearing got bad so it started making noise. Called the customer service who trouble shot the issue in 10 seconds and sent me a new jar free, That is customer service in today's date when most companies are trying to cheat you. Even prior to this incident, all our family members have Vitamix, gifted by us. One of them makes bagels from scratch. Not sure if I need the dry jar but have two days to decide.

How does the vitamix help you make bagels from scratch? I'm not much of a cook btw.
