They seem to work pretty well. it's just odd that in order to connect every time, Bluetooth AND Wi-Fi must be used, even though once it gets going it only seems to use Wi-Fi. Connecting takes maybe 30 seconds after I leave my driveway and disconnect from my home Wi-Fi.
I've pulled up Google Maps and let the "where you are"
Map stream and it works fine but I haven't tried navigating yet. I tried a couple of phone calls and it seems to work ok, no echo or delay that I've heard about.
For 63ish dollars I think they were worth it to not have to take my phone out of my pocket and plug in every time I get in the car.
Note that it ships from China so the shipping took a while.

I fought them for 2 weeks and in the end they kept $1 of the order for shipping insurance... the opposite of amazon basically.

You're paying $55 to not have to plug your phone in, but yet, it's a gimmicky hassle, and we generally plug our phones in, in our cars anyways.
It just seems like more hassle than worth.
Also to clarify though I haven't extensively tested this, it's just worked pretty well for my basic usage which is pretty much music and nav.
One thing I wasn't clear on is if there should be any aspect of data security to be worried about here. As mentioned it looks like it uses Bluetooth for the initial handshake and then hands of to WiFi (higher bandwidth). I'm not sure how these even works in general TBH, if they just reverse engineered Apple's protocols because this technology does exist from Apple but only in certain cars like BMWs. Basically wondering if the device itself can see any unencrypted data/any concerns there. I haven't researched this at all it's just on my TODOs because outside of that this seems like a pretty great product at this pricepoint.
Works extremely well, an absolute must buy, connects the same speed as our other car, 2022 Tiguan wireless CarPlay.
