Best use for these is for Disney World for those NOT used to Florida's stinky water. I can vouch these get rid of the sulffur smell and taste.

I use these when I travel and can't be bothered to buy packs of water. Hotel tap water doesn't taste that bad through this!

Hey so like, are these good? I'd love to cut back on bottled water.

These are pretty neat, though it seems silly to do this versus just dispensing filtered water from the fridge, sink, etc into a regular insulated bottle. I guess I also prefer drinking cold water and can't think of a scenario where I'd have access to ice but not to water. I'm not sure what applications really make sense to use this bottle outside of camping and/or not having access to clean water, but I'd probably use a life straw for scenarios like that.

Good deal, though, if you can find a use for this. I tried to justify it in my head to buy some as Christmas gifts, but just don't really see much value in these. Especially if you have to keep replacing filters. Much easier to just rotate the fridge filter or keep a brita in the fridge IMO.

Hate the $6 shipping but, even with that it's less than Amazon Prime by $14. We ebike a lot and I hate the honkin 26 oz bottles and prefer these (steel one) 20 oz'ers. I'm in for one as a gift although, other comments here about taking filtered water instead makes sense. Luxury buy - but I'll go in for one as Xmas gift to the riding princess

My son recently bought one of these. I am sure he spent more. Maybe I will go grab him some filters.

Can I put tap water in here to filter out, instead of using the pitcher? I guess is this filter the same as the pitcher one?

My work does not provide filtered drinking water and it's an old hospital building so I'll use this to help make the tap water more palatable hopefully!

Don't let your children drink unfiltered water...and plastic bottled water might be worse! Look at the explosion in "gender confusion" going on. It all seemed to start about the time everyone was convinced by the bottled water industry that tap water is unsafe.
