This model doesn't have the 3d front sensors that the non-aivi T8 has, only a front mounted camera.

That's weird, even on Deebot's website the non-AIVI T8 is $150 cheaper than the AIVI T8?

That's how they're priced. I suspect it's based on having the ai navigation which I've read wasn't so good anyway.
