The Feit Electric bulbs at Costco SUCK! I had 12 of them in my home and they constantly had issues. I ended up finding a different brand bulb and have had no issues since, plus the colors are significantly brighter in what I used.

That said, how is the brightness of colors on the Kasa bulbs?
I put this guy into my WFH office and it's been nice having the auto-color temperature adjust as the day goes on. Also seems to help with the white balance on my webcam vs the sun coming through the window.

Just combined the pickup deal https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/685417 and got this for 9.99. Sweet....

Just tried and it would not accept the code for just the light bulbs so I had to order something else over $20 sold & shipped from Amazon.

Same here. Figured that out when I went to buy more a week later and noticed the cheaper ones were 850 lumens. Pleasant surprise that we received the better bulbs.

Try to select HUB pickup before applying coupon

That said, how is the brightness of colors on the Kasa bulbs?

I compared Philips hue and this Kasa one side by side, there is only a small difference in brightness on the colors. But there is a noticeable difference in the warm white mode.

I got one of these from the Alexa sale a while back when it was only a couple bucks... I honestly dont really know what to do with it.

I hardly have any single bulb fixtures in my house, and where i do, i have absolutely no need of scheduling capabilities or color changing. Fpr now i put it in (one of) my porch lights and turned it red for xmas.

Just saying... think about what you are going to use it for. you probably dont need two 10$ light bulbs.

A red light outside a building has a very different meaning in europe. May want to go for a green light to avoid odd visits from complete strangers. Smilie

I think that having only one does restrict some people on their uses. It would have to be a single bulb floor lamp or something like that for just one to be useful. For example, I have one bulb in a mini-chandelier in my bathroom that (surprisingly) takes this type of bulb and not one of those candelabra bulbs. I use the scheduling feature when we're out of town to make it seem like someone is home since it's by a window and can be seen from outside. Can also be used for some mood lighting if soaking in the tub, either colors or just a warmer white.

As for the use of 2 bulbs...Porch lights is exactly what these can be used for (if you have one light on each side of your front door), with scheduling you can have them turn on when it gets dark and off later at night (or the morning) if you like to leave them on all night so you don't forget to turn them off. You can also have them change to specific colors during certain holidays if you want, sort of like what you're doing right now but with 2 bulbs.

I guess it depends on someone's specific layout. I'd rather use this brand's switches for regular lighting where I don't want color, but I think bulbs are the only way to get color options. I have their switches in quite a few places but these bulbs also will work where I can't replace the switch because of the style being used at that location (if you need automation).
