preface: woooordy title, waited to see if it applied on my account before posting, this is based on using a Blue Apron Amex deal that has returned (3rd time it's been on my account I think)...breaking this down:

step 1- check your Amex account for a Blue Apron offer of $25 off $50...then obviously add it to your account, and click the link to take you to Blue Apron's site in the offer. Coincidentally shipping is free on orders above $50.

step 2- immediately go to their market page by navigating or hitting this link:
https://www.blueapron.com/market where you'll find a sitewide sale of 20% off on market items for the holidays,
^this 20% off market items applies automatically in your cart, there's no code or anything to worry about.

step 3- find something that costs over $63 so that you'll get a charge over $50 when you checkout as 20% will automatically come off in your cart. I cannot recommend enough the Toriharu knives made by Korin for Blue Apron, they're great "welcome to japanese knives" knives. [you could go for the combo set of both, but I like grabbing the petty because I always need more smaller knives, and a hard $25 discount takes the largest % off that knife as its the cheapest].
update: the chef knife has sold out Frown...and now it looks like the petty knife did too Frown

step 4- checkout with your Amex card and you should immediately get a notice that you used the offer, you'll see the credit pop onto your account 2-5 business days later like most their offers.

step 5- cut up food with a knife that's insaaaanely sharp out of the box.

yaadaa yaadaa:

The offer is worded to make it seem like it's only for meal kit plans, but this is the third time I've used it now on items from the Blue Apron Market, and it's the 3rd time OVERALL it's worked (edit: each different time this offer came up on my account I bought a petty knife as it's single use, so I'm up to 3 now now because they're fantastic knives for $31+tax, and I don't need another 8"+ chef knife)

You saved $25.00

These knives are 3 layers of steel- vg10 clad sanmai awase style where it's a core with 1 layer of cladding on each side; I always buy the petty, and its just the best for tasks that don't want a huge hunk of metal that a chef knife has. I have to imagine their chef's knife is pretty great too and would recommend it based on the petty if you don't have a decent chef knife already as $67 + tax isn't much on that knife.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Thanks, I had the offer on my amex. I got the petty knife last year on this sale and it's a great little knife for the price. I use it pretty much interchangeably with a Mac 6" petty. Picked up the bread knife and cheese knife set this year.

It's the only reason I keep two active. I have the BlueCash and the Everyday card for the membership points so I can use it every now and then with the Amazon points deals. The only time I ever use these cards are when there is a half decent offer.
