I agree-- the likes of jonnyguru aren't in existence anymore though. I honestly would love a tip off on a new in-depth power supply analysis website

For what it's worth, my electricity is $.109 per kWh. At 50% capacity, my break even point is about two years when comparing to gold models of the same size. This is running 24 / 7, if you're not using it in something like a mining rig, your return will probably take longer.

great little power supply. the length of the focus series is smaller than most which can be beneficial for some cases. warranty is long (10 years) and power is clean. scores in tier A https://linustechtips.com/topic/1...%20connect

Seasonic has always been a top name in power supplies. They've been the OEM for many different company's power supplies for decades and have been making power supplies since 1980.

A really long time unless you're paying $10/kWH

Could even make it worse if you're already on the 650W sweet spot and you decide to be on the lower end of the load on a bigger PSU

jonny still posts on that thread, and they've moved to the psucultists website. https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

I used to be against the tier list but they now back everything up with a source in their spreadsheet, and get reviews from people like Aris very often which is another trusted name. Not JG level but he does very indepth written & video reviews. This PSU is exceptionally good and is quite possibly the smallest ATX high end psu you can get, especially at the 850W+ ranges.
