Hi, I'm sorry to bother you - but would this laptop be OK for minecraft java ed, minecraft vr or other VR games (used with Oculus Quest 2)?

is that good or bad? haha. Sorry - I bought this a few months ago for my daughter for Xmas and wondering if there's something better. Planning to upgrade NVME and RAM. Would like to keep 15" and under.

An 85W 3060 is plenty, it also depends on what your daughter is actually playing, but unless your daughter is trying to play titles at like super high settings. She should be fine. 85-95W is around middle of the pack for this GPU. Some thin and light laptops run the 3060 at just 60W, then there's some beast-mode expensive laptops that run it at 130W.. But if you take a look at some comparison videos, you really aren't getting THAT much more performance on most titles when running something like this vs the 130W version.

Should be more than good enough for the Oculus Quest 2

Is a GTX 3060 Good for VR?
The VR-friendly GeForce RTX line is currently spearheaded by the flagship GeForce RTX 3080 and runs down, at the moment, to the more budget-minded GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3060. Any of the GeForce RTX cards released to date are more than good enough for VR gaming in the state it's in today.
