There's something reassuring about physical ritual where you either get (qua enjoy) it or you don't.
Personally I think the highs sound better on vinyl (or CD) than lots of low-fi streaming and mp3s. And there's something to be said for listening to actual albums for a while - as in the same songs, in order, over and over. Having physical media demands intimacy in a way digital subscription services can't. The cost of changing tracks is so much higher.
But to each their own. I love streaming too, depending on my activity.

These vinyl remixes get mixed reviews.
I only own the Led Zep II version and it sounds great to me.
I usually wait for deals on the 2 disc deluxe versions because they will/are out of print.
Yeah. I'm not a fan of these new Walmart reissues. Poor quality. The tool opiate one was going for $6 and people went nuts but it doesn't sound anywhere as good as the original and is missing the reverse cut groove for the hidden track
This is a great album though go for it if you're interested it can't be that bad

Vinyl is once again coveted. Somewhere in heaven my Dad is smiling.
Was it ever not? It's killing the mp3 industry!

Seriously? Have you ever listened to vinyl thru a decent system or headphones? There's no comparison to CDs (which are worse than 8 tracks for sound quality) and digital which is just as bad. I guess if you like your music flat and muffled then vinyl isn't for you.
