Will they let you open the pc to check content before paying?
Yup they did after I told them what happened on the floor.

Is it worth it to pick one of these up if I just want a decent pc (not a gamer). I would want to sell the gpu if I could. Wondering how easy it would be to sell the gpu for a decent sum. I guess ebay would be the way to go.

It's a decent deal if you wanna sell the card but you gotta factor in taxes, ebay fees, shipping fees, hassle of buyer being a jerk, and cost to upgrade cpu cooler. In end system might still cost you 300-400. If you can sell locally at eBay price then you're golden, but highly doubtful. It's a much better deal for someone who wants to game IMO.

Thank you for the info. Also you mention the cost to upgrade the cpu cooler. Would I need to worry about that if I sell the gpu and just use the integrated graphics?

Thanks,

I have an EVGA GTX 1070 SC. Would it be worth getting this and popping my old card in it and selling the machine as a way to get the new card? Would people buy that? If not with this machine is there another one I could do that with? Would love to get a new card but don't know the best way to do it. I am doing a custom build.

You can sell the desktop alone for 650 all day. You'd be able to sell that with a 1070 no problem. The ebay fees on computer sales are lower than component sales (at least for stores).

It was 98% samsung in these up til black friday and now they're mostly hynix. Still a decent deal but not worthy of signing your dog up for an account to get more.

I ordered a top end spec XPS 17 from Dell: 4K touch screen, 3060, 1TB HD, and 32 gigs of ram and delivery will take a month per recent update.

If you aren't doing anything cpu intensive, then the cooler it comes with will suffice.
Based on youtube videos though, would be a good idea to replace and add some case fans for the summer seasons.
