This does not have all the bells and whistles but one of the cheapest prices I've ever seen on 75 in TV except the one from element from Black Friday for 550. But I would consider TCL to be better with more reviews.

60HZ display

In Los Angeles, shipping was not available but plenty of stock for pickup.

I have the same from last year's BF ($499). Over a year now and VERY HAPPY. Picture is really sharp and has tons of adjustments. For a 60hz native set, no issues with football/sports, etc. I don't use this for games though. It's in my bedroom and really kick ass size.

Android TV works fine......u have load tons of stuff/apps from android store, inc Kodi, etc.

Also supports aspect ratio so u can zoom/stretch non 16:9 material as well. Highly recommend it.

Edit: Forgoet to mention that non 4k material gets upconverted very well. This is a steal even at $599. And you'll never go back to a small TV again !

Edit 2: My BB review here from last year. The TCL/Android security was addressed via firmware update that was released mid year.

I have been looking at pulling the trigger on the Hisense U6G 75" (currently $850 at BB). Seeing the posted $599 w/ free shipping locally for myself on this TCL. Rtings seems oddly high on the Hisense. I know these are two different categories of TV's but this alert caught my attention. Anyone with insight on the pro/cons if the $250 more for the Hisense is worth it in your opinion?

At medium levels (medium light in the room, medium brightness on the TV), almost all modern TVs look great. That's why it's difficult to tell what is what in a store.

Three (of many) areas where better quality TVs stand out are:
  • in the dark (nighttime movie scenes), where lower-quality TVs will appear cloudy and unclear (this is the biggest area, in my opinion)
  • in a bright room, where lower quality TVs can't get bright enough
  • for sports or other content with panning shots, where non-uniform brightness makes parts of the screen look dirty
  • gaming features (although sometimes better gaming TVs don't make better movie TVs)
I recommend reading the reviews on rtings.com, including the short videos showing their test results. They're very informative and should answer whether the quality differences make sense for your use case.

You're comparing a budget technology screen with a mid-range QLED panel.

Decide if you're a quality or a quantity person.

I bought this TV for last Thanksgiving for my living room which has very bright environment and this TV is really good. I never encountered any issues for the past one year and I highly recommend this.

Exact same TV I bought from Best Buy last year, except it was 499, that's only a 20% increase in one year, not too bad for 2021!

But for the TV it's great for $500, I mean $600 this year
