I bought these last year. I could never get the heel notch (the rim in the back) to soften. Any time I wore them for more than I couple hours I'd end up with bad bruises. I finally donated them.

Most ot the Sketchers shoes come with this insole and it feels like a sales tactic. It is only comfy at the store and wears out quick. YMMV.
