I have about 8 hours into this game. If you liked the original one, you will like this. Very pretty game and worth the money IMHO. This game improves on some combat systems and character enhancement/perks.

I didn't like the first Ori gameplay (but did like the graphics).. would I like this one any differently?

I have tried so many times to get into this game, as well as the other one they made. For the life of me I cannot get into it, no matter how many hours I invest and how hard I try.

I think so, it has a ton of improvements across the board. I liked it way more than the first, but I did like the first.

This game is so difficult in spots that "normal" is almost impossible, and you can't change the difficulty! Best to start on an easy setting.

You can purchase the digital game through other retailers and gift her the code to download the game.

I always find it challenging to justify buying games included in Game for a Metroidva 2Dnia, the Switch seems like the right pla better fit.

This is one of the best game I've played in over 30 years of gaming. I like it more than the original Blind Forest. My kid loved watching it as well.
