I bought this for $3 from Best Buy a while ago. I started using it after I got annoyed with the small size of my Logitech M325 and I didn't want to spend money on another mouse. While the mouse is good for the most part, I found it inferior to the Logitech in almost every way. It eats through batteries. The mouse would sometimes lose signal and be slightly unresponsive even if close to the USB hub. The scroll wheel button is the most annoying thing. It sometimes doesn't respond. You have to press it with a certain amount of pressure or it won't work. Pressing it down also causes the wheel to move so you'll end up scrolling while pressing it down, which is annoying when you're trying to use it to open a link in a new tab. Overall, not a bad mouse, especially at this price, but I would recommend a Logitech mouse over this. You can find the M325 or similar models for the same price. If you need something right away or don't like the size of Logitech's cheaper models, then this isn't a bad option.

Over time, the rubber ring will separate from the scroll wheel. Then, it's landfill.

It works fine with Mac. I have it. It just doesn't come with any Mac-specific software/firmware so you can't like reprogram buttons to do specific shortcuts or anything. But it works just fine. Virtually any mouse will work fine with a Mac, they just don't always create specific software for it.

You don't need software to reprogram buttons on a mouse, it's in the settings.

This was my favorite mouse when I used Windows. I still have 3 of them from when I had 3 PCs I was using. Super comfortable, mappable side buttons, great scrolling, and no connection issues.

Looking for a small mouse with both the back and forward buttons. Want a logitech 510 but it always costs $5 to $10 or more than their mice without the back and forward buttons.

The worst mouse you can buy. The battery life sucks! It drains the battery from 1.5v to 1.0v and stops working. I have a jar of 1.0v battery that I hold onto for flashlights. I bought three 1 or 2 years ago. Two have issues.

Skip this! Go with Logitech.

Man I had used this mouse through work and it chews through batteries. I had another economic MS mouse with the same issue. I will not buy any pc peripherals from them as long as I live. I have a cheapo jelly comb mouse that is a champ

"One AA battery provides more than 10 months of battery life"

Oh yea? Wired mouse requires no batteries and provides best performance and no disconnection and having to go to the store when you find out your mouse is dead as you sit at your computer for work/gaming session. Take that!
