Definitely worth it. The $5 monthly reward can be used twice (YMMV), once in store and again online (take a screenshot of it before using in store and use it online as "promo code" quickly). The 10k points can be used in store or online, just make sure to pick the right one.

So can you just buy $5 worth of gift cards each month? Seems like a decent deal you get $70 worth of stuff for $10.

Easiest thing to buy is $5 game credit like Nintendo eShop; they can print that small an amount on the register.

My understanding is you can't buy gift cards. But I do see mixed reports about mystical $5 receipt based Nintendo credit. Is it just Nintendo? Can you get Xbox?

Last time there was a similar offer, that was unbeknownst to me when I decided to redeem my Pro points to get another year, to my surprise, I got the bonus points. If it works the same this time around, you would be able to renew for 10,000 points and get 10,000 points back... effectively getting a free year of Pro membership. Can't guarantee it will happen, but I'll give it a shot tomorrow if I have time.

That's how I finally got my Series X, bought online, arrived a few days later. I kept the GameStop gift card, 3 month game pass (the only time I've paid full price for GP) and returned Madden and the extra controller. The controller box was open and the controller was actually dusty, which might have helped the return, since they don't usually accept returns of bundle items.

After over a month of following a few Twitter accounts and competing with bots, I considered the price of those items a small price to pay to have the machine in my hands.

Monthly rewards can be used online or in store. In fact, you can double dip by first writing down the code. Then use your monthly reward in store. Then you can use the code you wrote down to buy something online.

For everyone else asking, monthly rewards expire at the end of the month so they can't be stacked. You can use them to buy digital currency (PSN card, xbox, etc) in store
