I got these last week, they are definitely the rejected peanuts. They were burnt and mostly crumbs.
Stay away, much better quality from the grocery store in the round cardboard planters container.

Every time I see sales on peanuts I remember a couple times a few years ago when you could get 16oz for 1 dollar. Guess those days are gone.

Sometime, I just have to shake my head and wonder when I see a deal like this....

I was due to get one of these peanut canisters in my December 14 S&S shipment and I heard from Amazon Wednesday that they were unavailable and the item would be not be in my monthly shipment this time. Now, here the same item shows up in Slickdeals as a front page item a little bit more without the coupon (I don't qualify for that).

So I really don't have to have these now and can wait until my next S&S shipment of the peanuts in March. So, I can use this deal to pay a little more or wait until March and see what the price might be.....

I've gotten these 9 times in the past, last was Dec 6th. Never ever have they been burnt or crumbs, they are the same peanuts you get from your local store, costco, walmart or where ever. I'd order them right now, but not getting the coupon this time around.

You might have just received a lemon as they say...

I keep these around to crush up for my homemade Pad Thai noodles. Great value and better tasting than the Aldi cocktail peanuts.
