This is the last Intel MacBook ever. 65% of the performance of the M1 Pro 14 but at 55% of the price. This MBP13 has more than enough juice for 99% of users. Great deal!

But has the strong potential of flexgate happening. And Applecare and daily backups are a necessity (arguably for the M1 and newer, too), due to the "SSD" actually being flash storage on the logic board, unlike 2015 and older.

I sound ridiculous for telling someone how to get a windows key for cheap? You're ridiculous for telling someone to use a limited version of windows. And what's with all the essays? I ain't even reading all that
How do you know the keys you're buying aren't stolen? You really think you have a legitimate license with that $3 key? Basically, you're saying that you don't care where it came from or if it's legal, but are recommending people buy the same illegal keys you do?

Did you know you can get free food by walking into a store, grabbing food and run out without paying? It tastes the same as if you actually paid for it! laugh out loud

Basically, any Windows 7 or Windows 8 key will activate Windows 10. MS made that happen. If you recycle computers, surely they have old Windows 7 COA stickers on them?

You don't have to register windows. It just means you get a blue plain background.

Dude.. you sound ridiculous. I'm just pointing out an option that provides the same functionality as any windows 10 home key except for the one cosmetic caveat that's actually free thus cheaper than "freest you'll get" option you pointed out.

You also run the risk of Microsoft revoking your license if the key is identified as grey market keys and a few I've bought with that route have not worked to begin with. It's not a 100% guaranteed route, just saying.

Not to attack your knowledge and call you a liar. You're just plain wrong bud.

Telling us you build computers as a hustle doesn't make your statement anymore true either lol
Microsoft has t revoked shit in like 40 years. Is both of you girls are pretty, stop arguing about dumb shit.

Anyone runs VM's via VirtualBox on this particular i5 unit? Does it get hot with multiple VM's running? I want to get the Pro 16" but it'll be an extra ~$700 for me. Not sure if it's worth it just to get the M1 model.

I'm pretty happy with them, to be honest. But curious which companies are on your list that have never "farked anyone" and are unanimously "fine and upstanding" ??

Sounds like a personal problem with MS you got. No one is shilling for MS, this deal is just great for those who still want a mac but can run windows when they need to. That clearly isn't you.

I got a similar i5 processor in a 13in 2017 model (obviously a bit older) but for that use case I'd recommend something with beefier processing power. The i5 isn't the best for VMs and the slim body makes for throttled performance pretty often

Windows is now free, officially from MSFT. You can download it from their website. A key is no longer required to run the full OS indefinitely (though custom colors and backgrounds are disabled)
