The plus is $10 per month and the pro is $20 per month. I'm a new customer, If I get this, will they prorate my Pro subscription to $10 per month (year of costco plus + $10)?

Update:

After going in circles with customer service, they said no. Upgrading to the Pro will be at full price. They consider the costco provided subscription as free trial and they don't have a face value for it. The person I talked to was a little bit clueless

Yes, that's what I was telling my wife other day when we watching the movie where hackers can control everything once they get in network. But I am not sure if they were so bright, why would they hack us and find nothing but stacked up tissue papers and useless/ful stuff from SD. Lol.

I guess ill have to get a price adjustment. I just bought this a couple weeks ago. So far working great though. I bought the solar panel that hangs on the gutter mount from amazon, and my battery has stayed charged up. When it drops below 90 it starts charging again. House faces south with plenty of sun unless its cloudy.

It's a real shame that Ring separated Plus and Pro, but the original Plus plan was too good to be true. I can't take advantage of these bundled plans because they would get rid of my grandfathered Plus plan.

This is only true until the end of the year. After Dec 31st, anyone who is not already on the legacy plan will not be able to enroll in it.

What about in 2025 = just 3 years from now when the $10 a month rate is no longer available to anyone? What's the next best thing?

Don't forget extended warranty on all Ring products as long as you hold the plan. Agreed - I will hold onto my grandfathered plan as long as possible

Extended warranty = for HOW LONG? My oldest Ring camera has serious issues with battery -- it never holds charge anymore....

I plan to only have one product, a doorbell, and seems like the $30/yr basic plan is fine for my needs. I'm thinking the recently posted deal for the doorbell 4 at $170 may be a better fit?

I went in store and they had it for 159.99 (bestbuy). Ended up picking one up, and they give you a free Amazon echo show

Not as good of a deal. With this deal, you get 1 year FREE of professional monitoring, which is worth $100. Of course, if you don't want monitoring, then it's a moot point.
