I for example do not want to pay GPU subscription for many months as I don't game every day. Say Hello to frugality, responsibilities and priorities for me.
Buying the game alone is generally more cost effective for some folks (myself included) long terms wise.
I haven't played FH5 as I don't have Xbox. I had played FH4 on One S, X and Series S, and X a while back and I enjoyed it esp the vibrant music The Pulse and Hospital soundtrack. Sold/traded in these consoles afterward. Don't really miss them.
So there are reasons to purchase these rather than rely on Gamepass.
That said, this probably isn't the deal to purchase on if you have access through GP. Wait for the Ultimate edition with all DLC if you love the game enough to want to stick with it after its eventual and not yet announced delisting.
Obviously majority of users here are just like you and I don't speak for them
I never said anything about worry. I said frugal. Or shall I said be budget conscious? Either way, gaming subscription Isn't cheap to renew and life changes.

For someone who works so much and is worried about money it's odd to me that you think buying a mostly online game after it's obsolete is preferable to renting all the games you need for what? $2 or $4 a month depending on how much you load up?
You don't need to enter in 3 years like all these fanatics. Just load up for winter. Do you not know you'll be inside?

You and I can agree that the less we "rent" games, the less we save $ on GPU for reoccurring subscribers which are the minority here.
Good to see you supporting GPU. This mean subscription rate will be affordable for years to come.
Forza 4 is still a fantastic game to pick up, especially if you only have 15-30 minute spurts to game. Even the base game is great already since you have so many opportunities to win cars in game.

If so, sorry about your life.
I played FH4 for about 1000 hours, and the biggest problem I had was updates introducing new game-breaking bugs.
