Update: Amazon helped me out in a way that was satisfactory. I'm not a tv snob, but I'm pretty happy with it so far! This is a solid deal, if be all at this price is you're shipping anywhere near this price tier. I don't think you'll do better until you're spending close to a grand. Caveat: I'm not a gamer, so I don't know how it is for that purpose
I sure hope that refurb Sony works out. It's the best of the bunch of course, but I'm not happy about buying a refurb from a less than reputable company!!
Oh by the way, I already WRAPPED the Samsung for Christmas - haha. DOH!

ratings also says the u7g is very close to the x900h but they favor the x900h by a small margin depending on what you want more.
I actually bought a X950H like new (seems new all around with warranty) for $900. So, loss on me? Meh, good for wide seating viewing.
