I really want this but 40 bucks still seems like a lot to me. Also the "building it" model's man bun dissuades me.
It was worth it at $50, it is very worth it at $40.
I won't comment on the obvious trolling regarding the model.

Dusting and cleaning must be a challenge.

This is a nice display piece. It's too bad about the designer's obsession with frogs, and his need to include them in all his builds. For this one all the pink blossoms are frogs, it would have been really pretty if he had left them as blossoms.

My son is 28. His birthday is today. When he was little, like 5 or 6, he would ask for a Bonsai tree. Poor af single mom, I got him what i could. I wonder if he would find it cute or dumb if i got him this today. 🧐 tempting.
And i have no idea why at that age he wanted one, must have been a show or something he spotted it.

Built this a few months back and that was my one massive gripe with this. I was hoping to swap out the leaves for what I thought were pink blossoms at some point, until I had them in front of my and realized that they were all a bunch of stupid frogs. They're marketed as "pink cherry blossom blooms" and that could not be further from the truth.
