Basically lowest price according to CCC - $305.99. 18TB also at lowest price for $354.00 with FS (not prime).
Not that great if you compare to those WD Shuckable HD but then you don't have to shuck.

Anyone have experience with how loud these drives are, and how appropriate they are for NAS use?
The reviews seem to indicate that this is a CMR drive, though the listing doesn't specify. (The X18 series, by contrast, explicitly says CMR.)
Also, I'm noticing that all the sellers are third-party. Does this mean no warranty?
These are enterprise drives designed for data center NAS enclosures, i.e. 24 or so drives in a chassis. Load rating, vibration handling, mtbf, and warranty all higher than what you get in the ironwolf drives which is nice, but overkill for a 2-8 bay home NAS. I haven't owned these, but given their intended market, I'd guess noise containment isn't high on the list of design requirements.
Price is ok, more importantly, keep in mind when buying these drives from Amazon not all sellers are certified by Seagate for warranty. I have a couple from a seller on Amazon that do not qualify for the Seagate warranty but the seller reassured me they would honor the 5 year warranty. I don't trust them honestly but at the time they were the only ones selling these at a decent price.
