Best Buy removed (for now) all the TCL 2021 5 and 6 series Google TV models because of the mediocre/low ratings brought about by the glitchy OS/software.

Got it then.decent set nothing spectacular. Update the firmware as soon as you get it. I hate the one button control underneath the bottom of the TV though.

Android os sucks on tcl, roku is better

I believe it only concerns TCL series 6 with Android tv as per another deal information.

Tried Android TV earlier this summer, wasn't a big fan. Is price good enough to get it and use with ROKU stick. Was looking at some 65in TVs to replace my 4yr old 50" TCL

Can you elaborate as to why you didn't like it? I don't have any experience with either Android TV or TCL.

Sure. I use Android phone and casting from phone would either cut-off picture or show navigation bar. Another turn off was that I couldn't cast videos from my favorite site while there's an option of "play on Roku"
It might be one-off experience because my use is probably not how most people's use their smart TVs. If you use Hulu, Netflix, etc, you may very well like Android TV.
With how cheap all these units are nowadays, may as well try it out for yourself and eeturn of you don't like it
