That 'identical' impact ready set has the yellow torq band you see as red on the Milwaukee, green/blue on the Makita, etc. Before they came out with that colored torq deal, everyone used the OP in impacts and screw guns as being all we had. Nevertheless, all of the DeWalt bits, reciprocating blades, etc. are a bit soft.... and why they are cheap.
The bit holders were too big to fit into holes housing the screws (recessed holes) I was lucky that my old craftsman set had one bit holder narrow enough to fit into the hole. But longer Phillips bits would have worked too, which I later found I had after I finished assembling the furniture. (Of course)
Bits would also fall off into the hole sometimes, so having multiple bits helped. My magnet was also too wide for the hole not much wider than the screw.
So I'd suggest picking up some longer Phillips bits too if you don't already have them

You had a narrower shaft holder, so you were good. But, if you did not, you could take one of these included cheap bit holders with a bit in it to spin between fingers on each end, over to the bench grinder and narrow it down like your Craftsman. Cheaper than buying a decent longer one type of bit and becomes part of your tool arsenal to hold any type of bit you already have in these variety packs.
Granted, a lathe hobbyist could make look like factory, but a bench grinder or belt sander will work.
