Just want to throw out there that I have one of these that I've had for a couple years and it's been a real champion for us. Air frying is a bit different than on a square air fryer but imo it actually does a much better job of actually crisping than my ninja foodi counter top flip up oven, which has an awkward space. The biggest difference for us is that you can really crisp up things like a whole chicken or other cuts of meat that aren't just flat and small. Only qualm I have is that if I try to air crisp two racks of chicken drums or wings the top ones are always crisp before the bottom ones, but that is easily solved by taking them out and letting the others crisp for only a couple more minutes. A small inconvenience. At this price I am thinking of buying another. Again, this is all just my experience and opinion but hopefully it can help someone.

This is an amazing price for one. We have had a very similar model for several years now and it is still our go to unit for air frying. While the round is a bit awkward to load up, the quality of the crisp is really great compared to the countertop front door type units. I just dont think you can get the same kind of even air flow with them

For $100 it is a no brainer to buy. I bought another one to put away for if/when I need another one or give it to one of my kids.

I have an instant pot that works fine but takes around 15 minutes to get to pressure. How long does the 8 quart ninja take? Also, any opinion hiw it's air fry function is compared to the ninja foodi toaster combo?

Ninja has too many different models of these.
Anyone know the difference between the OS401 and FD401?

How this compared with the Instant Pot Pro Plus? I'm trying to decide if I really need the app and pressure canning.

I was wondering the same thing. I have the 8qt. instapot sitting here that I ordered when they had that deal at Bed Bath & Beyond. So I'm going to have to make a decision before the return deadline. I know the Instapot that I got doesn't have the air fryer.

I'm curious about that as well.

Order now, think later.

This is a good deal especially at this size. The air fryer I would consider an extra. If an air fryer is important, I'd get a separate pressure cooker an air fryer unless you're tight on space. I have a 6-quart Instant Pot Air Crisp and find the round shape limiting for an air fryer. I do long-cut potato wedges in the air fryer, squarish is better use of space. Maybe at 8-qt it's better.

My primary use for the Instant pot is to fast steam cook ribs and replace that stage or cooking. Takes under 45 minutes depending on how much. Got fed up after it took almost 4 hrs to get a couple of racks to the right tenderness. 6-quart is perfect for 2 maybe 3 racks of St. Louis Style ribs. 2 racks of meaty baby backs are possible but its's kind of a tight squeeze. If I had it to do over again, I'd be looking for an 8.

There is one note, the newest Foodi has a 3rd cooking mode called steam crisp, I think. No idea if that's useful at all but worth looking into.
