Please read the instructions, as all of the prices require at least one step, some require two.
This appears to be the best total deal for H&R Block so far this year, and beats or meets prior year deals.
Deal link for Basic, Deluxe, Deluxe + State:
https://gethrblock.com/blush
Deal link for Premium, Premium + Business
https://gethrblock.com/olive50
This site is owned by H&R Block Digital, payments will be processed by hrblock.com and the key you get will come directly from an hrblock.com email.
Step 1) Click on link above. Wait for tax identity shield popup to display and close it.
Step 2) Open a new tab in your browser (or switch to another already open tab), wait a couple seconds and then return to the deal site tab with the original offer. You will now be presented with a "last chance" popup which will give you a $5 discount on all available selections, click "Save $5 Now".
Step 3a) If you wish to purchase Deluxe + State or below, select your product and check out, the $5 discount will be displayed on the individual product page.
Step 3b) If you wish to purchase Premium or Premium + Business, chose the product tier just below your desired version. The initial $5 discount will be on the lower tier product page (and will traverse to the upgraded product later). When you click purchase (you won't be charged here and will have a chance to review on the next screen), you will be presented a discounted upgrade (bringing your total discount to $10).
Basic: $4.95 - $5 = -$0.05 (unsure what happens here, not the version I purchased)
Deluxe: $9.95 - $5 = $4.95
Deluxe + State: $19.95 - $5 = $14.95
Premium:
$32.49 now $39.99 -$5 -$5 =
$22.49 now $29.99
Premium + Business:
$39.99 now $54.95 -$5 -$5 =
$29.99 now $44.95
If you don't get the last chance offer, clear your cache/cookies or try in a new private browsing session (closing all other private browsing windows first). Private mode in Edge or Firefox seem to work best.

here is a link [bestbuy.com] to one of last year's products on Best Buy where an H&R Block rep confirms gethrblock.com is legitimate.
Edit 2: Thanks again to kstar1990 for a new link for Premium & Premium + Business with even lower prices!

I used to do taxes professionally and have found HR Block to be as good as Turbo Tax in terms of ease of use, and better in some cases where I have to manually edit a form.
In fact every year I'll compare HR Block to Turbo Tax online for a select few people and find the results the same, if not more comprehensive with HR Block.
Turbo Tax has tried to screw over American tax payers for decades, starting in the 90's / 2000's by forcing its customers to register their tax software via server activation. This meant if your PC died, or you had to factory reset due to a virus, you could not reinstall the tax software, or reinstall it in later years to do an amended return. This alone causes me to stay away from Turbo Tax. Every year I have to file 2-3 amended returns for prior years, and with Taxcut it is super simple.
Now Turbo Tax tries to lobby congress to keep taxes complicated so people are forced to use its software. Also, Turbo Tax tries to hide the free tax filing option from eligible tax filers and have been taken to task for that.
No matter which way you spin it, Turbo Tax is evil and anti-consumer. Stop spouting BS that HR Block is worse than Turbo Tax. No way I'm going to let this fly.
Turbo Tax interface is easier in some ways, but HR Block's interface is fairly easy as will, and allows easy manual control of the forms for more complex situations.
Exactly.
Don't listen to the troll.
Exactly. Suckers pay way more for Turbo Tax because they listen to trolls and don't understand that alternatives are just as good, if not better.
I used their small setup launcher to install, which isn't the full software install (file downloaded was too small for full install). Did some snooping to find the full installer that it automatically downloaded. One can find the full installer for backup/copy purposes in your C:\Users\<Windows user login>\AppData\Local\Temp directory. For me, since I bought Deluxe + State, the file name is: HRBlock_Deluxe-State_CW.exe

Over multiple version years H&R Block continues to contain critical mistakes especially calculations on state forms and lesser used forms. It just can't be trusted.
I had a problem using the software last year too, and no way to correct it, I had to amend my taxes.

Stick with what you know, if you've been using TT without issues don't switch.
