Got Steamworld Dig about a month ago. Beat in 2 weeks with occasional night time play. Maybe a 4-6 hour game enjoyable for $2.
Will probably grab the sequel now.

Love these games. The developers have a new game coming out soon - The Gunk. Looks quite a bit different from their Steamworld games though

Picked up dig 2 and heist. Like the poster above, got dig 1 and killed a decent amount of evenings on it!

Can't speak to the other games, but Heist is excellent fun. Imagine XCOM but side-scrolling, with ricocheting bullets

Same here! I still can't get the theme song for the town out of my head for SW2. Looking forward to the gunk day 1 on Xbox Game Pass. It actually looks like they really fleshed out an interesting world there in that game.

Played through dig on 3DS. It's a nice casual game. Playing through dig 2 now. Heist is a very different game in the same universe. Hope they make a dig 3 for switch soon.

Highly recommend all Steamworld games especially at discount. They are also family friendly.

Steamworld Heist having a good portion of its soundtrack done by Steam Powered Giraffe is a great plus also!

Dig is a good terraria copy but these "heists" are rather simplistic and boring

Dig plays nothing like Terraria. There's no base building or material hoarding. I'd compare it to a Metroid-like game where new skills allow you to traverse the terrain easier. Sometimes using these newly aquired skills get you into secret areas from earlier parts in the game. Loved my time in both the Digs. Wife loved them both too.
