WalmartI think the real advantage of the Dune model compared to other Power Wheels is that it has more leg room. Potentially can last many more years compared to the smaller Power Wheels. While they are younger two small kids can fit it. When they get older they can still ride it as a single person vehicle. I'm pretty sure my then 12-year-old was able to still ride his as a single rider.

We have this. The kids love it but it has a really limited turn radius. Great for a backyard where you have space for big turns but tougher for smaller yards.
I got one for my kid. We only used it a few times due to the size limitations in my neighborhood (backyards, front yards and sidewalks). Its been sitting in my garage since.

If your in Los Angeles and are interested DM me.

I have the older version of this buggy, the f-150 truck and the Kawasaki quad. The quad is the favorite and the truck is great with multiple kids. I have seen as many as 6 kids pile up in the truck. The dune buggy, not so popular. I don't know if it is the sitting position or what but it looks bumpy to ride. The dune buggy is always the leftover power wheels when the kids ride them.

My 4 and 2 year olds love it. Bought it off FB used and put a 18v Makita adapter to fit my tool batteries ($15 adapter)
All to say an adapter is a great upgrade if you have power tools

The best 12v ride on we've had, but keep in mind the pedals are a bit further away from the seat; my 3.5 year old twin boys aren't tall enough to drive this, but are tall enough for the 12v escalade we have. You'll want to upgrade the battery too.

I have this for my son. We like it but It is big and kind of heavy and takes a lot of space when stored. It also has a large turning radius that makes it hard to drive in smaller yards. The storage compartment under the hood is big enough for a black and decker cordless battery, fuses, and distro block for led lights and car horn Big Grin

Was it a Makita specific adapter? Got a link?

I have one of these I got last year on Walmart clearance for 50 bucks. Used this adapter to hook it up to an 18v power tool 4ah battery and it hauls ass now. My two kids love it! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08T76Z...UTF8&psc=1

That's perfect! Appreciate it. Did you have another adapter on the 18v battery or did you just wire straight to the terminals? I'm drawing a blank on how this attaches to the battery.
