Is this mainly for people who grow their own weed? I find these things are too small for a cooking herbs. And why are they so expensive pre-sale? Just curious because I have a decent sized planter box outside with cooking herbs, and it's getting crowded because of growth. 🤷 ♂️

Hydrophonics have a legitimate place in gardening, but honestly, i get the impression this is more of a novelty than anything.

I haven't done the math, but I suspect you could buy a years worth of whatever you were going to grow before getting closer to the retail price of this.

That being said, is I can find one on clearance, I'll grab one in a heartbeat for my wife.

Personally, I have been waiting on a sale. I want to use it like a seed starter as I don't have many places with good natural light inside. This should help start me growing season earlier
