No thank you Seagate.
It's been proven time and again that Seagate is just as reliable as Western Digital, and some of their drives are even more reliable.
But hey, let's forgo reasonable thought and regurgitate anecdotal accounts. I'll go first; any one remember the first gen Western Digital Green drives? Now those were a dumpster fire. WD NEVAR AGAIN!!!1!
Which assumes you get a real product. I'll never buy a hard drive on amazon again after getting multiple shucked drives and the seller not responding nor amazon giving a crap.

apples and oranges
you were buying not from amazon, and you were also not buying internal hard drives.

Biggest thing is making sure they are CMR, not SMR drives, and that you have a backup (or redundancy since this is a NAS drive). Any HDD can fail at any time.
Seagate doesn't use SMR in NAS drives, so this should be good. 3yr warranty.

Been using this specific NAS drive for the better part of 8 years, before the Ironwolf branding was a thing. Started with a 4-bay Synology then moved to an 8-bay. I've only had three drives fail in that time, all of which failed before the 3-year warranty expired. I still have four of the first-gen NV000 models in production. As far as I am concerned, they are a great buy.
As always, consumer beware that Seagate canvases internet conversations about their products heavily. If they put as much effort into making reliable hard drives as they do into marketing/brand manipulation then they'd perhaps have something worth purchasing. Be suspicious of any company who behaves like this.

I would never buy Ironwolf's again or tell anyone too.

Fufilled by Amazon, sold by a "company", sure. But I purchased a 5tb seagate 2.5" internal laptop drive and come to find out, it was a shucked drive.
there are plenty of other stories of this happening too. Still not worth it to buy a drive through amazon.
