    DId you try and clean the contact (or open the train up and clean up the crap) with vinegar? I saved a few remotes and others things by cleaning the shit up with vinegar.

    I would say AC Delco is better than Amazon basics but not as good as Energizer or Duracell.

    48ct is only $10.99, making them $ .23 each. I ordered the 48pk awhile back, & they were in packs of 8, which makes it handy. Some of these when you open the pack, they are all loose. That can be a pain, especially if you happen to drop them.

    Yes, Menards carries them for cheap. I bought five 30 packs on BF for 3.99 a pack. Mostly to use for kids toys. Should last me at least a year.

    duracell are horrible , they leak as hell they destroyed 3 lego train remotes !

    will never buy and trust duracell anymore
