If you're considering exchanging your OLED for a bigger size LED set like the QN90A, then that's justifiable. But I've never heard of anyone exchange their superior set for an inferior one all because of the remote. I can only assume that I'm missing some context here.

Quantum is a fraud and he has the settings all jacked up on that Sony to get gray blacks. RT is infinitely more reputable and they say it's decent. Especially since there isn't much else comparable in the 75 inch size right now with the new TCL 6 pulled from the shelves and the u7g an IPS panel. At least the Sony exists and works, lol.

The Sony 85" X91 is also back to it's BF price of $2200, including the 3 years of extra warranty.

Any pointers on which is better, this or the Best Buy Samsung QN75QN84AAFXZA. The 5 year warranty from Costco is very tempting (may be even more with Costco card)

I did this math, it worked out cheaper for me with 5 years warranty than paying 400 for warranty on BB and has hdmi 2.1, FALD, and VA panel. Above all, Sony Bravia XR processor is a better one than other named brands

Yeah, I thought about it for a while and ordered this and cancelled my earlier Samsung Order from Best Buy. The Costco Returns and Warranty is what swayed my purchase.

The QN84 is brighter based on test results. As for contrast, Sony will have the better picture. It may depend on your use case and viewing environment. If there's a lot of ambient light due to windows, and if you need wider viewing angles, then the QN84 will be better. If not, then the X90 may be better.

Qn84 and qn85 are the same. Question is how bright is the room you're gonna use it in? The 75 is an ADS panel so during dark room viewing the blacks will look less black. Whereas the Sony has excellent blacks with the va panel ideal for dark room viewing. Use the compare tool on Rtings and see what suits you best.

I was comparing this vs the TCL 75R646 which is what i finally went with. I am quite impressed with the picture quality, brightness, and blacks (excellent local dimming). I paid 1299 and i know it is hard to find plus folks hate the buggy android tv. I use roku so i'm loving it. Just my 2c.

Sorry for the newbie question, Sony LEDs have equivalent/similar quality to Samsung QLED? I always thought QLED is in a higher league than regular LEDs
