Picked 2 of these up at about this price on Black Friday for Productivity only. Upgraded from 2x1080p.

Had a problem with one where the text got fuzzy when scrolling. I reset to defaults and it seemed to fix it.

Speakers are horrible! If you only need it for beeps, then they're fine. Want to listen to music or speech? You will still need something else.

There are lights on the back of the monitor that rotate through preset colors while powered on (can be turned off). Not too bright and can help add a little ambient light to a dark room.

You're the first person I've ever heard of that actually wants to use monitor audio

This is my solo monitor at the moment, the only annoying thing/difference with this from my previous Omen 27i(same spec 1440p 165hz) is it doesn't wake when your PC does, so you have to turn it on separately, knit pick for sure just throwing it out. Picture difference between this and the Omen is most certainly not worth the $300 difference, not even $50 for the RGB on the Omen haha

You should ever factor in the audio quality of any monitor. In fact it would save people money if they just stopped building them with speakers.

Yea, all I need is a 3.5mm port and I'm good. That way a sound bar or any kind of speakers you already have can be used.

Bought the Acer 27" from Costco for $240. Worth swapping for this one?

Is this better than 1080p 144hz monitor for the same price?

I have the same monitor and I have been playing Forza Horizon 5.

Monitor speakers are only good if you dont have any another speaker.

It is a good pair with rtx 3060ti where you can play 2k with over 60 fps.

Anyone know if I can downgrade the resolution down to 1080p and back up whenever I want to? Thanks!

Yeah you can change the resolution settings on your computer to output to a lower resolution.

But the quality will be worse doing that than having it in the native resolution.

Not entirely sure why you would want to do this, but you would do it via the display settings through windows and change the output resolution. Or if you're gaming, go into the video settings and change the window resolution there. I don't believe you'd be changing any settings on the monitor.
