Highly recommended setting up the Switch and downloading games prior to it being opened, otherwise you'll kill the first few hours of excitement.
Nope. People ask this every time, no way to dot it without an active console/account. In the past years, most recommend opening and setting up the switch in advance. Especially if you want the kids or whoever to be able to play with it right away. If it's for your own family, I would set it up in advance, get it ready for them.
Lair of the Clockwork God is an excellent game - it's a point and click adventure that's also a platformer. Definitely worth $5.

Looks like a few decent games here.

Picked up Jet, Hanwell, and Human Fall Flat.

Absolutely agree, you'll probably have an update and another update to use the microSD card, then you have to download games. Depending on the games you have you could spend forever downloading instead of enjoying the console and games.

Human: Fall Flat looks entertaining. But is there a point to it or is it just random physics messing about?

Jet Kave looks good. So does Call of Juarez. Anyone play Juarez on other platforms have any thoughts on the Switch version vs those other platforms?

Call of Juarez is a great, over the top old school FPS, and I'd highly recommend it on the Switch (along with Bulletstorm if you enjoy that genre). It plays well, had some interesting mechanics and is well worth this price (which I think might be an all time low for the platform). To be clear, despite the cowboy setting, it's much more in the style of old school FPS than modern realistic ones.

Do these take any SD card or does nintendo require a proprietary sd card?
