LG doesn't get enough credit. They have better Customer Service and better quality TVs compared to Samsung.
They get all the credit. They're considered the best OLED TV you can buy right now.

Yea, thats what I'm thinking. This TV doesn't get a ton of use, other than when I play games either, so I have trouble justifying spending too much more on it. This old 1080 TV has done well and still looks "good," we have some cheaper 4K TVs that I've hooked up the PS5 to see if I can tell a huge difference, and really don't know that I do.
                  U7g imo

Same got delivered very quick and late last night messaged them about the credit because I wasn't sure when it was supposed to come. I got an answer almost instantly and today right at the 2 week mark from delivery I got a $108.xx refund. With the discounted gift cards from the Slide deal and $20 CB from urlhasbeenblocked I ended up around $1020 total.

THESE are the way to game, if you care to spend enough to get a video card that can run 4k.

As for burn-in...I have 3628 hours on my 48" CX and counting...no signs of burn-in yet!

Also note that you will want to have a deep desk if you are going to use this as a monitor. I have my eyes about 32" away from the screen and it's perfect, I got used to it easily.

Don't think the warranty covers burn in.

You are probably correct. From reviews / info I have seen, as long as you don't leave the same non-dynamic channel running (news channels that don't change graphically much), it shouldn't burn in.

Isn't this 48" a much better deal as a monitor than the Samsung G9 Neo?

Just some feedback for others who might be thinking of getting on this deal.

I bought this the last time this deal was active around November.

                  - Purchased on 11/25. Shipped on 11/26 Received on 12/3. Shipping was quick I think considering the holiday timeframe.

                  - Only issue I had was since I bought the 48 inch they used FedEx instead of using a private shipper guess due to the size and weight of the 48" vs a 55" or larger tv. FedEx has been a nightmare for me lately... They literally left the tv on my front porch even though the delivery required a signature. Of course they delivered it during the 1 hr window I wasnt home. I then checked who signed for the package since I wasnt home. The driver just left it and said my "Front Door" signed for the package... cant make this up. Luckily I got home to get it before some lucky porch pirate got the package.

                  - Luckily the package came intact and no damage. The CPS warranty card was attached to the side of the box in a plastic carrier.

                  - Just received refund notification of $109.38 back to my card on 12/14 so about 3 weeks to get the refund which was inside their 2-4 week estimate.

                  - For people worried about burn in - I had a older 1080P LG OLED from 2015 that never experienced any burn in. I did use this tv mostly for watching tv and movies no games. I also have a 2017 LG OLED E7 that also has not suffered any burn in. This TV I used for TV, Movies and Gaming. I was worried the gaming would cause burn in since I play first person shooters with static content but really no issues at all.

Sorry for the long post but wanted to provide some feedback that might help others...

Does burn-in occur after 4 years at all? From what I heard it takes longer to appear
It depends on how you use your tv. As long as you aren't watching something with a consistent line or image you'll be fine. I've got a C8, and it's THE best electronic purchase I've ever made. If you are EVEN considering it, buy it. It's a home run.

I have been using the 48 CX model for a year now as my monitor and I'm very pleased with it. It is sitting on a deep desk and have made a few modifications like hide the task bar and desktop icons etc to avoid burn in. To date I have no burn in issues but boy: all the other monitors look just pale compared with this. It's just incredibly good!
The video card used with this is the FE RTX 3080

Tempting, have a 13 year old Samsung 1080 52" I've been thinking about replacing. Was leaning towards a U7G as its just a TV I use to play games on mostly, seems U7G is probably a good budget buy for a PS5. This is probably better, not sure its $500 better though...Plus losing 4" vs gaining 3"
I've been thinking about one too. I'm still using my old 48" 1080 Vizio tv. I've saw someone comment these oled tv might go down in price a month or 2 later because the new oled lineups will come out. If it isn't a priority, you should wait.

For me, I do think the oled are game changing and worth it. I've been looking at the 55" because of my drawer can't fit a 65". I've seen Costco and bestbuy selling the 55" for 1299.99. Costco has the much better warranty, but both don't include burn-in. eBay is selling them too that includes burn-in protection warranty.

My brother bought the 65" CX for his bedroom and it's big. He had it for over 6 months and it's still going strong. I have to say it looks amazing compared to my old Vizio. I saw him play doom eternal and it looked incredible. I just had to get one now since I just got a ps5.

Man if this was closer to 40 inches I'd buy it at this price for a computer monitor. I really want OLED for my PC.
