It's the same price ($42.99) in store, in MN, not $39.99.

Yes, you need the receipt though but they can look it up for you too
I ordered in in the app so it was shipped to me. Do I have to go into the store or can I just call?

Are you really that cheap to use the membership for a year and then cancel?
It's worse than that. He walked past great deals on common use products and couldn't figure out what he would regularly buy there to save the money he spent on the membership. If you have any women in your house, you'll save your annual membership in just buying toilet paper.

I understand being smart about budgeting and where your dollars go... but you can save quite a bit on alcohol and general staple foods at Costco and Sam's compared to grocery stores. Is everything cheaper buying in bulk? No, definitely not. There are plenty of Youtube videos and blogs that explain that every single item in Costco is not necessarily cheaper in bulk. But, being a smart consumer, knowing prices.. and generally being an honorable SlickDealer will create a win-win situation with a costco or sam's membership.

Though, there are some cheapskates and generally horrible people that do come to this site and would commit retail return fraud to save $5. (not directed at the guy above who thinks that Costco memberships are pointless)

Does costco have problem with fake cards like other retailers? Or do they have better supply chain?

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago for full price and haven't even opened it yet. Will Costco give me the difference or do I have to rebuy and return?

This paired with a USB 3.0 adapter would be good to run Xbox One games on a Series S/X, right? Original HDD speeds were 90MB reads and tons of seek time.

It's an extra $2.50 without a membership, but the discount still applies. It comes out to $48.33.

This is the extreme version going for $79.79 on amazon right now.
The non extreme version is $47.99. Best price I've seen is around $40

If anyone is buying it for the Nintendo Switch theoretically you will not see a speed difference since the switch's read speed is 100 MB/s, but for $2 you might as well get the extreme version.

Can someone tell me the use case for the faster speed? Gopro?
Higher end 4k mirrorless cameras won't record to slower cards, they'll display a warning that the card is too slow. However, anything u3 works just fine in all of my lumix and sony cameras, as well as gopros, so not sure why anyone needs the extreme versions.

You get higher quality video and pictures from the faster cards, as the camera recognizes it can write the data faster, and records/writes at a higher bitrate. At least, that's what happens with the better cameras. Better card = better outcome. When you already spent hundreds or thousands (or $94...) on a nice camera, it makes no sense to cheap out on its storage medium.

Sounds like a garbage camera.

If your camera is set to take a 50 MP photo, it should write a 50 MP photo. The only thing a slow card will do is delay the writes (which will go to buffer). If you keep snapping photos, the buffer will fill up and then it will tell you to hold your horses till its done writing.
