Been watching these on amazon for a while now and this is definitely a good deal for anyone in the market for a cheaper Japanese automatic. IIRC these guys are owned by Seiko. Still best bang for your buck in all around terms.
Orient has "noisy" movements. Owned the 1st gen along with makos and all same. However, these are regulated MUCH better than Seiko divers (hit-n-miss).
The biggest difference I can tell with a quick look is that the Amazon one has a mineral crystal, which is garbage (naturally foggy and gets dinged easily)

HEADS UP: For anybody who cares about a smooth seconds hand, please notice the movement.
A Rolex's second hand has 8 beats (or ticks) per second, while this one has 6 per second. From 5-10 feet away you can't tell, but looking at your wrist you can.
Not saying this is a horrible thing, but most high end automatic watches have 8 beats per second for a smoother sweep (for reference, though the Omega Planet Ocean currently on my wrist has 7 and my vintage Rolex has 6, so it's really just a matter of preference and perspective).
Orient is a solid watch.

If you're going to reference Rolex and Omega as having smooth second hand sweeps, you might as well note that nothing compares to the sweep of a Grand Seiko with a Spring Drive.
I own the black version of this watch. It's really nice but I upgraded to a jubilee bracelet. Definitely a good watch at a good price. And to compare a $200 watch to Rolex is ridiculous.

You def dont need a rolex to get high beat mov't. The downside to high beat is that it loses its power faster and more wear on the watch.
Low beat mov't move less hence can last longer which is why you see these 15-20 old seikos still running good without any service.
and for reference grand seiko spring drive has smoother mov't then any rolex.

Thanks for comparing a $200 watch's beats per second to a $5,000 watch

No need to be a sarcastic a-hole. Most people know what a Rolex's sweep looks like. If I said a Seiko with its N35 movement or mentioned an ETA 2824, it wouldn't resonate.

It seems like they look the same and have identical features, am I missing something?

I was merely setting expectations, as a 21.6 movement can seem jerky to a person who is expecting a 28.8 because they don't know watches well.
