These are adjustable since they dim, but they are not the white ambiance lights, therefore you can't change them from warm white to cool white.

Really? In the specs on the BB site is says tunable white.

Just remove the honeywell timer from the equation, you can use the app to set a schedule and even have it based on sunrise/sunset if you need it to. If that's not possible you should be able to enable a return to last state feature in the app if power is cut. These are also not the color bulbs, just white.

These are adjustable? The web page seem to indicate so, but all my adjustable whites are the flatter bulbs type, while my more rounded white bulbs are the "soft white".

Ah, same question I just had. The do say "Adjustable white" fro color temperature. While https://www.bestbuy.com/site/phil...Id=6347042 these say "soft white". But the shapes of the bulbs are opposite what I have. (I just had 2 Hue bulbs fail, so trying to replace with teh same thing I had - Phillips makes this harder than it should be!)

I had 3 bulbs outside in enclosed fixtures for about 5 years. On and off everyday on timers and still going strong. These are hub version not newer bluetooth cum hub. Actually recently I bought 2 BT version and one lasted only a day. Phillips honored the warranty and refunded full price. In my experience these bulbs last long

Good price but you should know that it is not very bright even on highest settings. It's equivalent to 60W. Philips just released a 100W which is much brighter. I changed one of this to the 100W in one room and it made a huge different. These are fine for ambiance lights but may not be for reading etc.

I have use hue bulbs in outdoor fixtures. the fixture is not fully cover (bottom is open and it's facing west (get lots of sun in afternoon) . it's been 2 years and set it to turn on every night, so far so good. Southern California weather.

What is the white temperature on them? I don't see that listed on the page, just "white" are they daylight or warm white?

Yes and no. If you can protected it from water/rain, then maybe. From experience, they don't do well in hot humid environments. They'll most likely die within a year or two. If you get an outdoor rated bulb, those last 5+ years.

I'm sure it'll be fine. I have a cheaper Feit wifi bulb on an outdoor fixture that's not covered and open to the elements. It's been almost 2 years and so far so good.
