I bought a $100 Verizon gift card @ verizon.com and I received the Amex email confirming the use of the offer shortly after the purchase.

I have the offer but it takes you to the offer page that consists of expensive phones and tablets and that's all….

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems like there aren't any eligible items that are anywhere close to $75.

Edit: I purchased a set of headphones not on the promo page and the $75 back posted to my AMEX.

I bought the Amazon Fire TV Cube for $79.99. I should get 10% cashback as well. I should be able to sell unopened for $65-$75. There was some other items I could have purchased, but I knew in the end anything from that site would probably go in a drawer.
Also received the confirmation email from AMEX for the $75 offer 4 minutes after purchase so that was quick!

After adding Offer, Do I need to wait 1 or 2 days to make purchase to trigger AMEX offer?

just double check, since last time SamsClub Amex offer, I made membership purchase after 30 min I added offer, nothing and chat with AMEX rep, they insist I purchased before adding offer.

Same here. No alert from Amex or attempted charge. Maybe they're wondering why we're up at this hour...?

Reports on doctor of credit are saying it works on everything Verizon. At least people are getting emails about offer being redeemed. Whether it posts is another question

Offer showed up on my Amazon business Amex and I used it to buy a $75 gift card. The redemption email from Amex came seconds later, so this is a great deal.

For those with Verizon wireless service and getting a discount for autopay, be careful about using your Amex to directly pay all or part of your bill. I did this last year with another Amex offer and Verizon removed my autopay discount just for that month which negated part of my savings. Paying with a gift card doesn't do this, so buy the gift card and then pay your bill with the gift card.
