Best Buy also sells these TVs on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-43...B09F3TW5CP

At 4k 30Hz and HDMI 1.4 mode, the text is perfect in the chroma subsampling 444 test. [rtings.com]

It has gaming mode for low latency. It's on par with my fastest Roku 4K TV.

The back and ports are the same as Best Buy's Insignia™ - 43" Class F30 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV.

Best Buy licensed the Pioneer name.

This thread makes me sad to know Pioneer, once the pinnacle of TV's, has been reduced to this. 😢

TCL currently owns the rights to both Pioneer and Onkyo. I'd guess TCL Is the manufacturer.

They bought the name, but not the tech. So no, this isn't true Pioneer quality IMO.

Pioneer was once the leader in Plasma TV at the turn of this century. Their KURO brand was really popular like LG with their OLED's now.

Yeah I'm remember drooling over those $5k plasmas they had in Bestbuy years ago. Just amazing. Now they're basically an Onn.

Our 50 inch plasma Kuro is still going strong. Have had it for 13 years now though it's no longer our family room tv. Definitely was a different era when TVs were built much better. Shockingly the Pioneer was made in the US. Will be surprise if this even has 1/4 the lifespan or quality😂

I remember walking into The Good Guys electronic stores and drooling over what at the time was huge 42" inch pioneer plasmas. I remember the $10000-$15000 dollar price tag on them. You guys ever see the back of them? Bunch of fans in the back and they where thicky thicc too. Great tvs back in the day, I still see some running i peoples garages where they got sent after they "upgraded" the lcd. Still pulling 1500 watts at the plug. Lol

Mine made a loud popping noise and won't turn on any longer. Not a fuse from what I can tell. I still keep it in storage. It was an amazing TV.

I remember seeing a kuro on sale at bestbuy for around $900 in 2008. I regret not purchasing. This is the reason I will never buy a Samsung product. They basically bankrupted Pioneer's tv division. By the time the suit was settled Samsung had a foothold in the TV market. As a millennial, It was also Sony or other Japanese brands growing up. Yet here I am with two TCL TV's lol
