Overall, it's pretty meh.
The Segway G30P blows it out of the water in every way (the Segway is also $600 more expensive).
I haven't GPS tested the speed yet, but it's nowhere near as fast as the G30P's 18mph. I'd guess 13-15mph at the most.
It struggles up hills.
The electronic brake leaves a lot to be desired. If you need to stop quickly you better be ready on the rear fender foot-brake.
At sub $300 it's probably still a deal, I use mine for running around the paddock at the racetrack and it beats the hell out of walking 5-10 miles a day.
That being said, I've still got a deal alert set for the G30P and if it hits <$700 this one is getting relegated to loaner duty.

I also have tried the GoTrax scooters and I feel like this is the more solid build.
Pros:
- 9/10 Soild build. Feels premium and rugged at the same time. High quality materials. Aluminum.
- Bright white LED front light.
- Big tires can go through different terrains. Not on sand though. Offers a smooth ride.
- Non-slippery deck.
- Two ways to brake.
- Well known brand
- I am 190 lbs and it feels fast enough for me. I probably don't need it to be faster.
- Easy to fold with just a pull of a knob.
- Love the colored battery light indicator.
- Packaging is great and setting up/assembling is a breeze with English notes and manual. Took me less than 10 minutes. All tools came inside the box.
Cons:
- No speed indicator. No screen. (Which can be positive. To avoid glass parts)
- Personally, this feels heavy at 24 lbs.
- I wish the neck can be folded or shortened. Or it would be great if the handles can also fold in so I can fit this in better in the trunk.
- Expensive. At this price point though, it is at a really good price.
- Other people are right. Uphill can be a challenging.
- Not really a con but the charger can be improved.
- I wish the wires on the handles are not as exposed as they look.
But buyer beware they have a notorious cancellation fee (8%) and restocking fee (25%) and credit card charge will be from a foreign country. So, use a credit card with no Foreign transaction fee.
