My input here will be for this type of chair, not specifically this chair.

This looks pretty similar to the Nemo Stargazer chair (https://www.nemoequipment.com/pro...ze-luxury/) but definitely different (e.g 7lbs vs 13 on this). I have the Nemo and I really like the wideness and ability to recline - both options you seem to get with this chair. At 13lbs this is definitely not a backpacking chair and is better for car camping. At $40 this is a helluva lot cheaper than the Nemo ($220) and would be well worth that price if it's even a fraction of how comfortable the Nemo is.

This is a clone of 'Nemo Stargaze" chair, which is sold at REI for $220. I sat in it and it was so awesome and comfortable. I couldn't pull a trigger at that price, but for $40 it's a no brainer. I just wonder if it's even cheaper in warehouse? Anyone seen it?
Thank you OP!

Been debating on this chair for a while since I can't afford a Nemo Stargaze but also didn't want to spend $60+ for this type a chair. In for one as a Christmas gift to myself 🎅

If you have relatively broad shoulders thins thing will feel like you are being hugged by a bear. I bought it hated it, returned it. it was very awkward, could not touch the ground but the chair constantly propelled me forward, could not adjust to make it better.

How big is it when it is collapsed for storage/transport? Looking to replace some of my cheap Logo tailgate chairs which are the perfect size for tossing in the trunk.

Nice find, however there are a lot of mixed reviews on costco.com for this chair. I'm planning to take a gamble to order and test at home since the price is reasonable.

main issue with most, is that its too big and your legs tend to dangle. This can easily be fixed by shortening the metal standoffs with a pipe cutter. Make sure you dont cut too short and have enough clearance for the hammock to swing....ask me how I know

Buy these.

I got these a couple years ago and everyone is jealous every time we go camping now. They're a good price point and it's just so darn fun to swing in. They also fold easily and easy to assemble/disassemble in just 2 steps

(1) placing metal key to secure the seat
(2) putting cushions on the designated hole

We have 6 of these. We had one frame break and another ones material rip on one of the support seams. The kids love them and use them in the family room instead of couches for movies and games. We find you really need something to kick your feet up on to comfortably swing in them.

Had these for a while but ultimately returned them. If you are looking for a regular fold up camping chair replacement this is NOT it. This chair requires assembly and disassembly every time you move it, is much heavier than a regular camping chair and the functionality is completely different. Cant sit down on it and roast a smore around a fire like you can a regular chair bc your essentially reclined the whole time. For twice the price of a chair I can get at meijers this is a pass unless you need a dedicated rocker.

Recommend. Bought this a while back. Been a favorite chair at the lake on the dock.

This is not entirely accurate. There is a strap in the back that sets how much or how little of a recline you wan.t
