I was hoping this would be at least 500 lumens or more. But 140 Lumens at high setting is barely enough light.

I happen to have this and paid double the price. Typical Chinese junk with paid reviews and SD paid promotion. This light is pretty bad, the angle adjust thing is a joke. No chance this will work if you go for night run, it barely works for me to walk my dog at night,

For what it's worth, I've tried a few of these over the years and they always break after a year or so. Eventually I started using the Amphipod clip on lights that REI sells. They're bright enough, long battery and the clip is strong. They're on sale for $26 right now. Good investment if you like running at night

I understand that the pictures are deceiving, but 200 lumens (manufacturer claim) is nothing to sneeze at. Sure, you're not going to light up a dark trail, but these lights are meant for you to be seen, not for you to see. So if they put out even half of their rating, it should be enough to help be seen. On the design, though, I really am hating the way it goes over only one shoulder. That would drive me nuts. Also, might as well make the straps wider and fluoro green. Which leads me to now search for something like I've just mentioned 😅

Currently, I'm running in hi-viz colors with a flashlight (blf a6) and no rear light.

I can see putting on kid or dog so you can spot them. But I walk at night because I enjoy the darkness, seeing the stars and moon.
