Awesome! In for 2. I was on the fence with these last week at $430 and fell asleep with them in my cart, and I was bummed to find the price went back up by the time I woke up, so I decided to wait. Thanks for posting!

I remember last year's sale where the 16TB Red Pros were like $259. I bought 4 and threw them in a Synology 920+.

You can buy 18TB Seagate Exos drives for $348-$368 depending on seller/warranty on Amazon. The have almost twice the MTBF rating.

Sheesh I don't think my SSDs have read that much data. I wouldn't know what to do with myself with this...

Seagate says they aren't using MTBF anymore though. I don't know enough about how that works to challenge the statement you made, but curious to know what you think. I've been in the market for 18TB drives for a while now… and enterprise drives that I don't have to shuck for a decent price would be amazing!

They only let me buy 2, and took a month and a half to ship. Good deal otherwise.
