My co-worker had a dual motor model and it's pretty fast at accelerating. One thing to note that I didn't like on his was that after his battery died, the wheel with the motor doesn't spin freely. In other words, you couldn't use it as a regular scooter as it would slow you down as if you were hitting the e-brake. Not sure if this was for security to make it harder to steal, but it also made it hard to use if you ran out of power.
